Real estate financing for individuals

Crédit Foncier finances home ownership for both new and existing properties, in particular in the low-income home ownership segment. Crédit Foncier is also active in the buy-to-let sector and in financing older customers with specialized products and services such as reverse mortgages (Prêt Viager Hypothécaire). It delivers its expertise via a multi-channel distribution network comprising 218 branches in France, 7,000 business partners in the real estate sector(2) and an online Platform.

Financing for real estate investors and professionals

Crédit Foncier supports investors and professionals (real estate investment companies, builders, investment funds, etc.) in their real estate transactions. It also provides these partners with transaction financing arrangement and syndication expertise.

Financing for public entities

Crédit Foncier finances the development plans of stakeholders in the Social housing market. It offers a servicing platform for regulated loan programmes in support of the Caisse d’Épargne network, which is another crucial historic player in this sector in France. Crédit Foncier also supports local authorities, Private sector partners and businesses serving Public sector entities with specific structures such as Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).

Real Estate services

These services are provided by Crédit Foncier Immobilier, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crédit Foncier. Crédit Foncier Immobilier works closely with its clients, offering them a broad range of services, from consultancy to brokerage as well as valuation and audit services. Its products and services focus on major institutional landlords, real estate developers, institutional investors, investors, financial institutions and individuals active in residential or commercial property, helping them complete their real estate plans and grow their assets. Crédit Foncier Immobilier also publishes real estate market studies and forecasts. These are eagerly awaited and read by professionals in the property sector, government entities and, more broadly, the media, which draw heavily on their findings.

Financial operations

This business line provides refinancing for loans granted by Crédit Foncier and Groupe BPCE’s other banking networks.

Most of the business is handled by Compagnie de Financement Foncier, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crédit Foncier whose purpose is to fund mortgage and public-sector lending activities by issuing obligations foncières.
